Arte Algarve VII opens this saturday in Lagoa at 15h00. I will be exhibiting several drawings/paintings there. The exhibition runs until 6 June. Plenty of time for a visit!

3 Create Portugal members - Rebecca Rason F Ferreira, Carla Soares Martinho and Catherine Portal,  will be taking part in the Arte Algarve VII exhibition, opening on Saturday March 9th, 15h00, Lagoa, Algarve.

The exhibition is open until June 6th.

New Member - Marsha Turner Pluhar

Hello, I'm Marsha Turner Pluhar a recent Create Portugal member and would like to introduce you to a few examples of my work  Oil paints are my favored medium, but since arriving in Portugal one year ago I've been working in watercolors because of the portability.   Below is an example of my larger than life size paper doll cuts (oils on paper, cut out and mounted on wood - the hat and feather boa fit onto the figure- all presently in the United States) and a couple of watercolors.  To see my resume, artist statement and sets of cut outs, monoprints, watercolors and ceramics, please go to www.flickr.com/photos/studio1667.  I'm very much looking forward to participating in Create Portugal activities and exhibits.  Thank you.

2013!!

I would like to send out New Year greetings to all Create Portugal members and their families, our Create Portugal facebook friends and all other supporters of the network and our events.
